A Protectorate Agreement for the Order of Misfit Nations from the Viridian Entente and Tetris Alliances

Recognizing that The Order of Misfit Nations (henceforth "Misfits"), as their name suggests, are social misfits, who have left their old cliques and no longer have any friends to sit with at lunch, the Viridian Entente (henceforth "VE") and Tetris (henceforth..."Tetris") alliances do promise to charitably be Misfits' first new friends on Planet Bob. This legally binding treaty is like a birthday party invitation, a sign that VE and Tetris will make an effort to help establish the infantile Misfits in this big cyberverse.
Article I: Preamble
In order to promote early growth and to foster young friendships, VE and Tetris, as the protectors, and Misfits, as the protected, do henceforth agree to all articles and terms stated below, stipulating that Misfits be a protectorate of VE and Tetris until such a time that they may be declared independently sovereign.
Article II: Assistance and Aid
VE and Tetris agree to offer aid, both financial and martial, unilaterally to Misfits, should it be required. VE and Tetris agree to protect Misfits from all acts of aggression, provided Misfits did not directly provoke said animosity. VE and Tetris also reserve the right to assist Misfits in any aggressive action. Misfits, while not obligated, are hereby given legal justification assisting either VE or Tetris in any of their wars, either defensive or offensive.
Article III: Relevant Intelligence
If any signatory of this document obtains, infers, or otherwise discovers information which could be directly relevant to the well-being of any other signatory, said information must be relayed to all relevant signatories with due expedience.
Article IV: Sovereignty of Protected Alliance
VE and Tetris agree not to interfere in the structure or operations of Misfits, limiting themselves to advisory positions. VE and Tetris may not mandate any action or prohibit any action from Misfits. However, in exchange for protection, Misfits do agree to keep VE and Tetris informed of their general actions and intents, specifically notifying all signatories in advance of signing any new treaties.
Article V: Cessation and Cancellation
Should any signatory find this document unsuitable for any reason, and should there be no option of amendment or modification to resolve these issues, the signatory may withdraw from this agreement, given 24 hours notice to all other parties. The withdrawing signatory will be held under these terms for an additional 72 hours after publically stating their withdrawal. Furthermore, as stated in the Preamble, once all parties agree that Misfits is capable of complete independence in protection, this treaty shall be dissolved, at which point a new treaty may be used to replace the ties between these signatories.
